So Andy's birthday shindig has to be the single most fun night of my summer. As bridgets site so eloquently said, it was the type of night that made me sad knowing it will be quite some time before i will have another night like that with those people. Most people that i hold dear in my life were there, save for a few. So lets recap.... i was the first there and had mondo video gaming time with trav, andy, and travs HOOOOT brother justin for lik an hour and a half in which i only beat them all... once... it was pathetic. Then i tried some of this alcohol... i forget the name... yeah, that was fun. Then most of the night was spent just chilling with friends talking and laughing. The last half of which was in travis' room and included dancing to "slow motion" (of course.. hehehe), spooning on travs bed, zelgado pouring his corona on me (long story), trish and laurel trying in vain to win over justin (who left the next day to go back to the war anyways), and travis jumping on top of everyone and groping me (yet again) going "its cool" "its cool" "its cool". Oh, and then that horrible horrible "THERE AINT NO FUCKIN WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY" that justin taught everyone. what did i forget... oh! nicks porn that we found, being obsessed with guns... the gun travis pulled on me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (no it wasnt real but i ran out of the room screaming bloody murder anyways), spooning with jen and bridget, and a bunch of other stuff. Even alex dropped by and we had a really good conversation.
So i ended up "sleeping" on trav's floor with justin (GOD IS HE HOT). No the quotes don't mean i tapped that ass hehehe... it means we stayed up until 6:30 talking because surprisingly we had alot more in common than i ever would have guessed. All in all it was a 100% amazing time. The perfect night to wrap up a summer with and say goodbye to some people. what a night what a summer so then last night was almost just as amazing. It was just jen, dan, kyle, pat, martin and i at the starbucks at keirland hanging out for like an hour or so. We talked and laughed, and i love when its just a small group with those four boys (and recently including jen). Then we stood around outside throwing a frisbee around telling histerical stories of our grandparents, then dan and pat and i unmeaningly sat on the back of pattys car for another hour talking and laughing and even busted out pats guitar so he could play their songs for me... which are beautiful. I feel that i really got to know them both more, especially pat whom i dont know all that well. And now i'm leaving in three days and i feel we actually had a connection night. Its those types of chill nights with those guys that make my life what it is. They are my favorite nights by far. Thus, two amazing nights in a row. Its becoming the perfect end to these crazy three months. I think we're doing something tonight too. And tomorrow i'm going to the baseball game with my daddy. then wednesday i guess driving around and saying goodbye to people. We shall see how it all unfolds. Mike and i are doing excellently... according to me. I suppose you never know. But from what i can tell it is going really really well lately and i really need to see him soon again i suppose. Andy and I still arent really talking, and though im over being pissed at him, if the effort i was making before wasnt good enough, im just not going to make one. Im going to give the bracelet i made him to andy smith :) Yesterday was a family day. We went shopping and had my grandpa and his new wife come over for dessert. All in all as it all winds down, i am beginning to see how much i should have cherished. I am going to miss these times tremendously, no matter what lay in store for me in college. To the nights we'll never remember To the friends I'll never forget, Morgan Rose It's been a summer. |
